About the City Development Corporation
The City Development Corporation, El Campo's full-time economic development agency, is dedicated to the creation of jobs for our citizens through the attraction, retention, and expansion of businesses. City Development Corporation is a 4A corporation funded by sales tax to assure a continuous revenue stream dedicated to improving the local economy.

We are funded by a local sales tax dedicated to economic development, and made up of volunteer business and community leaders appointed by the City Council. The following members make up our board of directors.
