Whether you enjoy outdoor sports such as world-class goose hunting and incredible Gulf Coast saltwater fishing, or prefer to feast on homegrown crawfish gumbo then take in a movie, El Campo has what it takes. El Campo is a great place to play. The City has five multi-purpose parks with jogging tracks, tennis, softball, and soccer facilities. El Campo Country Club offers golf, swimming and an elegant clubhouse.

In 2005, the Rotary Club of El Campo opened the doors to El Campo's multi-use, state-of-the-art indoor swimming facility.  It features 8 competition lanes, a 50 ft. water slide, water play yard, large hot tub and more.  It is home to the Red Wave swim team and offers water aerobics and rehabilitation classes. Families may enjoy an afternoon at the roller-skating rink, theater, or bowling center, then cap the day at one of our many fine restaurants. Our newest community endeavor is the Aquatic Center, a $2 million swimming and wellness facility. For specialty hobbies or recreation, a short drive to Houston or Victoria brings unlimited possibilities.

The City of El Campo and its many community organizations provide a wide variety of entertaining community events throughout the course of the year.
